After much reflection I have decided that I am suspending my services as a travel agent due partly to the scarcity of business resulting from lack of marketing on my part as much as the global economic downturn (the reward certainly doesn't justify my effort any more) but chiefly to the conflict with my own views on the world at this present time when the disparagy between the haves and have nots grows increasingly noticeable and the environmental consequences of mass tourism place profit before the future of our planet.

If you've known me during my quarter of a century long association with Dykes Travel Centre and Peregrination then you will hopefully appreciate that I am an extremely principled, honest and conscientous person and thus you may understand that I find the travel industry at odds with my growing spiritual awareness which is reflected in the fact that my heart is no longer in the job and I recognise it's time to give up.

I would like to thank everyone who has ever contributed to my financial wellbeing but especially those clients who have remained loyal to me.
